Questions

Where will the servers be?

In Québec, Canada, in liquid-cooled sites we develop, on Hydro-Québec power. The site is named in your agreement.

When can I get a server?

The first release is planned for 2027–2028. Your agreement sets a firm delivery date before anything is payable, and includes credits if we are late.

Do I have to take a whole rack?

No. The smallest order is one 8-GPU server. Add more servers as you need them, up to full racks.

What is the minimum term?

Twelve months. Terms of 24 and 36 months are also available.

Who can access my server?

Only you, remotely. Physical access is limited to our staff and the manufacturer's technicians. When you release idle hours, the server is wiped and reinstalled before and after anyone else uses it.

Does my data leave Canada?

No. Servers and storage are in Québec, and we do not move your data outside Canada.

How am I billed?

Monthly, in Canadian dollars, from the day you accept the server. GST and QST apply.

Can I resell hours I don't use?

Yes, if you choose. We resell released hours and credit 80% of that revenue to your invoice. It is off by default.

What happens to the heat?

It is recovered into the host site's hot water instead of being vented outdoors. It does not affect your service.

Darren K. Reid

Founder & Principal

Darren has spent his career where land, power and capital meet. As a Québec developer he has built warehouses and multi-unit residential buildings, carrying them through zoning, financing, utility connections and construction, and he has led concept and land planning for master-planned communities of more than 1,000 homes.

In British Columbia he developed a proposal for a 100 MW sovereign AI data centre under Canada's AI Sovereign Compute Strategy, developed with First Nations partners. Earlier, he led predictive machine-learning development through affiliated companies, work that qualified under Canada's SR&ED research program.

Nordarc brings those disciplines together: development, utilities, construction and AI.
